“First United Methodist Church welcomes You!  It is the intent of FUMC to encourage the use of the church and its facilities in a manner that brings glory to God and supports the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church including the use for the purpose of family and fellowship.”

The church facilities are available to church members for use if there is no conflict on the church calendar.   For a church member to reserve use of the facilities, one must contact the church office, fill out an application, and provide a copy of proof of liability insurance. There is no charge for church members.  However, if the facility is not cleaned and returned to its normal state, there will be a fee of $35.00 for custodial services charged to the member.  If the UMW are involved for the member’s use of the facilities, they would set their own fee.

Non-members are invited to use the church’s facilities if there is not a conflict with the church calendar and for a fee(s) which is stated in the Usage Contract.  A non-member would need to contact the church office, fill out an application, provide a copy of proof of liability insurance, and pay the necessary fee.  The building
IS NOT available to “for profit groups/organizations”.
