Judi McMillen is the Music Director.  If you would like to be part of the choir or share your musical talents with us, please contact Judi.
The Chancel Choir sings a wide range of choral music from a variety of styles for worship each Sunday.  You don’t need to audition or have any musical experience to join, although some musical knowledge is helpful.
We practice Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday warm up at 9:50 a.m. with church at 10:15 a.m.
Why should you devote the time and effort to sing in the choir?
-Service to the Lord:  The Bible is full of references about lifting up your voice to sing praises to the Lord. This is one way in which you can offer praise to the Lord and serve Him.  Besides helping to lead the congregational singing in the church service, the choir provides special music in a variety of styles-from swinging gospel to classical.
-Friendship and Camaraderie:  We are more than a singing group, we are a close-knit family of the church.  We do have note-bashing as we learn our parts, but we sing, we socialize, and we HAVE FUN!
-Health:  Just like laughter can improve your overall health and add years to your life, singing can have in impact on your body and soul.  It is a way to express love, joy, sadness, and grief.
Some may think that singing is like a beautiful vase to be put on the mantle and admired, but the reality is that the vase will come to live and become more vibrant if it is filled with flowers from your garden.  This is your invitation to become one of those flowers and join our choir family.
Come and join us!  Lift up your voice!  Help us make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
